Soybean association CEO nominated as deputy agriculture secretary

Censky President Donald Trump has nominated Steve Censky, CEO of the $21 million-revenue American Soybean Association, as deputy secretary of agriculture, although the St. Louis-based group hasn't spelled out its leadership succession plan should Censky be confirmed by the Senate. Censky has led ASA since 1996. Prior to joining the association, he worked at the U.S. Department of Agriculture during the administrations of Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W.
